June Weddings

June seems to be THE month for weddings in my family.


Dad's folks, June 25, 52 or 53 years.




Mom's folks, June 1, 44 years. (Grandpa got lung cancer and died, or I'm sure that number of years would've been higher.)




Mom and Dad, June 19, 56 years.




And ... *drum roll* ... Hubby and I celebrate 20 years of marriage today!!!! (June 5)



A funny story about our wedding date - we eloped on a Wednesday (June 5), but the local paper in my hometown accidentally printed "Saturday, June 5." Mom made them reprint it correctly, but we've had a standing joke all these years about "Saturday, June 5!"

    Love the old photos!! Congrats on 20 years. .it's a long time. My parents celebrated their 40th anniversary on June 5 too!! Enjoy the next 20 years!
