Yeah, I know it's not "officially" spring yet, but hey, it's on its way! At least March SOUNDS spring-y. February doesn't sound spring-y at all. March does.
I know March can have its share of winter weather, windy-blustery days, or even thunderstorms. But the wheat's taking off and looking lush-green, grass is starting to grow, birds are back, days are getting even longer, and garden plans are getting into full swing.
So in honor of the fact that today is March, I put a "spring-y" afghan on the back of the couch. I got the yarn awhile back in an attack of cabin fever/spring fever, and just finished it yesterday. We may need its warmth occasionally yet, but the colors will put some much-needed brightness in our living room.
