Bloomin' Yard

This is how our back yard looked on August 10, two weeks ago.




Now, after some good showers, the yards and pastures are greening up again! So thankful.




And ... here are a couple of Morning Glory blooms! THIS MAKES ME HAPPY.




Even the yellow weed flowers look cheerful.




Kinda makes up for the grasshoppers stripping my rose bush bare.

    Amazing what a little moisture will do. .oh and some cooler weather. The last two days here have been well over 100 again. .and I was surprised tonight to see how zapped out everything looks. .even the purple crapemyrtle are washed out looking and not bright! Darn it!!

    I was hoping that little "cool spell" (ha) would hold, but those scorching temps are back, aren't they. *sigh* Of course it's August, so now you expect it, but wow am I looking forward to a cool fall!
