Things Happening In the Garden on the Fourth

Happy Independence Day! Happy Birthday USA!

Though it takes daily watering, and the corn seems to be short, we do have some things happening:

Roma tomatoes.

Another gorgeous pumpkin bloom! Hoping one will set on.

And we have ... ears of corn developing! Younger Son is EXTREMELY EXCITED over this!

  1. My tomatos aren't wanting to set fruit. The peppers are finally growing and blooming. I found a God planted gourd, and the okra, melons, and cucumbers are growing now instead of just existing!! Hope younger son gets lots of delicious sweet corn!

  2. This heat blast is so awful, I don't blame plants for not wanting to bloom and put out things. I hope something will do well for you. J's EXCITED about the corn! The stalks are short, but they're having ears, which is what counts. :)
