Early Garden Things

The early things are in. Yesterday evening, younger Son and I went out and planted two rows of peas (for him) and a row each of lettuce and radishes (for me). Also, I started a few tomatoes inside, an heirloom variety that I'm eager to see how it does.

However, I have learned one thing very quickly. If I'm going to be out in the garden in the evening, WEAR MOSQUITO REPELLENT! I came in looking like I had the measles on my neck and arms! Younger Son didn't get a bite, but they sure *liked* me.

  1. That is great, wish I was doing the same. The hubby is the same the bugs find him first and hardly get to me ;)

  2. Consider yourself fortunate! :) At least these didn't itch, and were mostly gone this morning. My hubby had me douse them in rubbing alcohol.
