Giveaway

OK, who, besides me, is tired of cold, dreary, brown landscape? Who, besides me, is ready for blooms, green, gardens and warm weather? Who, besides me, enjoys "giveaways" on blogs?


I have THROUGLY ENJOYED reading various blogs for a long time. They're fun, interesting, encouraging, and a neat way to get to know a lot of great people. Once in awhile, someone will give away something on their blog. That's always fun to try for! I usually don't win .... until the other day, when I won a great book written by a schoolmate. How awesome is that? I'm really looking forward to receiving it so I can read it. Right away. Without putting it down.


So in light of everyone's longing for spring, and the fact that I've got stuff I've made sitting around, I'd like to take my turn at having ... a giveaway! (Bear with me, I'm new at this.)


Featured in the above photo are 3 crocheted dishcloths. I dug out some springy colors of cotton yarn, and made these for a dose of cheerfulness. One is peaches-and-cream, one is lilac-and-white, and one is rose-and-white. If you would like to perhaps give one of these cheerful dishcloths a home, just let me know in the comments. If you have trouble with putting a comment on, and you happen to already know my e-mail or some such thing, just let me know that way. I'll run this through this next weekend, then on Monday, March 29, I'll put all interested parties' names on slips of paper, put them in my trusty cowgirl hat, and have my son draw 3 names out. Each one will receive one of the above dishcloths. Just for fun, if you want to, let me know how you feel about washing dishes. I could do laundry all day and love it, but I don't feel the same way about dishes. But I know that having dirty dishes is a blessing, because it means we have food and are eating good.


Remember, it's now OFFICIALLY spring! So hopefully, we'll see more evidence of that soon. God created a beautiful world, enjoy!
