Wild Weather in November
This afternoon and evening has seen bad thunderstorms popping up in the Texas and Oklahoma panhandles, and on up into western Kansas. Today it was mild-cool and drizzly here in the middle of western Oklahoma. This evening here has been "warm," and the wind has been howling, and it has that wild, "ominous" sound to it. So far the storms are still to our west, but should move through later in the night. We're in a tornado watch until 3 a.m. In Oklahoma. In mid-November.
At this moment (around 10:30 p.m. or so), my home county up in Kansas is in a tornado warning. (See above photo.) There have been many tornado-warned storms in all this Texas-Oklahoma-Kansas area this evening.
Then tomorrow, in northwest Kansas, they are supposed to have blizzard-like conditions.
Update a few more minutes after the first radar picture, looks like they're fixin' to get "round 2":
