It was cloudy with dark, ragged, rainy-looking clouds on the way to work this morning. We ran into a light shower as we got near to the other town, then it let up. After we got there, it sounded like heavy rain outside ... sure enough, THIS was going on.
Then after a bit, it let up, and the clouds started to break and move on out.
Later in the morning, you'd never know that it had been so dark and ominous just a few hours earlier.
A skinny line of storms moved its way across the state the rest of the day. On the way home from work (no I'm not driving!), you could see the line of storms in the southeast and east.

This evening while we were at bowling league, they had a TV on showing Mississippi State and Missouri playing football at Columbia, MO. It was raining. Sheets. Cats and dogs. A player would get the ball and run, and you could see the water spattering out beneath his feet .... SPLOOSH! SPLOOSH! SPLOOSH! SPLOOSH! One team made a touchdown, then they kicked for the extra point. I don't know how the kicker kept from having both feet go out from under him on that watery field, but he kicked alright, and they got their point. SOGGY!
This is the time of year it can do anything. There were also tornadoes down in the Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas area earlier this evening. It's my understanding this area of the country (south) has a second severe weather season in the fall. I'm not used to that! So this is interesting to see wild weather like this in November.
