Young At Any Age
Earlier this month, there was a "Mother's Day Social" at the senior center where I work. The theme was "1950's." We enjoyed meeting a few pageant girls who were special guests, and who provided musical entertainment. We also enjoyed humorous and thought-provoking poem-readings, refreshments, visiting and door prizes. Afterwards, we had the chance for picture-taking. These are some of the senior center attendees, a lady or two who work here, and the young pageant ladies.
I got to thinking, in this photo, several stages of life are represented. Some young, with lots of plans for the future. Some middle-aged, working hard and being involved in a lot. Some older, but still involved with and enjoying life.
I came to this conclusion: They're all beautiful! Ladies are precious and worthwhile at any age. We all learn from one another, enjoy one another, and have much to offer, no matter what our "number age." It truly helps your quality of life to be young at heart! It was really fun and encouraging to be in such a varied group of ladies as we enjoyed the afternoon.
