Yesterday, well into April, in Oklahoma, we had WINTER. It began at midnight with a thunderstorm that included lightning, thunder, rain, and HAIL. Then through the morning, it was sleet and freezing rain, with a pretty good breeze. Of course dreary, dark clouds. Our power went out about 6 a.m., and finally came on just after 3 p.m. Then we had a "phase problem," where half the house wasn't working electrically. The power guy arrived later in the afternoon, and we were back to "normal" a little after 6 p.m. The clouds broke up and moved on out, things started to thaw right away. Still pretty cold, though.
Today, sunny, cold-cool, breezy, but MUCH BETTER THAN YESTERDAY. Even with all this, though, we're thankful for more moisture after 2 years of severe draught.
Yesterday.
Today.
Yesterday.
Today.
