Candy Treat

When I was a kid, I'd sometimes have a surprise treat after school. Not very often, but every once in awhile, I'd come home and there'd be a candy bar laying on my bed. Talk about a sweet surprise! I sure enjoyed that.


Here awhile back when both boys were in the public school, I'd do that for them occasionally, using those "mini" chocolate candy things (kisses, mini candy bars, chocolate peanut butter cups, mints, etc.). They liked that, too.


Now, I try to keep this kind of thing on hand, partly to snack on, and partly to "surprise" the boys with sometime during a day. They still like it. :) We're never too old for a sweet treat, especially if its chocolate!
