Fast Clouds

We've had our share of fall cold fronts sliding through the area lately, bringing cooler temperatures and some chances of rain. The other day it was flipping back and forth between sunny, cloudy, sunny, then more clouds would come through, then sunny again, like it couldn't make up its mind. This was an episode in the early morning ... I was sitting at the desk, and it was sunny. Suddenly, everything seemed dark. So I went outside, and this fast-moving line of clouds was moving through, from northwest to southeast. I mean they were really on the move. I just stood out in the back yard, watching delightedly (I love clouds) and taking pictures. Just awesome how fast they were going, and how the light changed as they moved over, and then on out. This set of pictures is all looking east, the first picture from our front yard, then the rest from the back yard.
