Mr. and Mrs. Cardinal

Yay! I've been hearing a cardinal around, and would once in awhile get a glimpse of him. This morning I was crocheting on the couch, and heard his distinctive "chirp" behind me. So I carefully looked around, and there he was under the feeder ... with his mate! Yee-haa! So very slowly I sneaked over and grabbed the camera, kind of had to stay back from the window, and got this shot. Sorry for the unclearness, but this is the best I can do with their spookiness! I'm just glad they're around. Hearing and seeing the cardinals, the robins, and other birds, are filling me with excitement for SPRING. :)

    I'm totally jealous!! I keep hoping that the only reason I don't see COOL birds is because I don't spend enough time at the window. .glad you had a chance to view them up close and personal!

    I think I miss a lot, too - Jonathan usually is the "spotter" - "MOM! Come look!" :)
