After being drought-stricken and stripped by grasshoppers last summer, look what's flourishing and blooming in our yard ... our wild rose bush! (Younger Son in the first two pics.)
Pretty!! We thought mom and dad had lost their rose bush. Its a beautiful pale pale pink, almost white rose, and its been there FOREVER. Dad was talking to me about ripping it out, but I found ONE LONE little shoot coming up out of the dead!! =)
Hi Rhonda, nice to hear from you. I had some hostas that I thought just burned up over the summer, that all miraculously came back We thought the katawpa tree died to but it is alive and well too.
My husband mowed down one of the peony bushes last summer. It's back this spring also!
