It was 24 years ago yesterday, that Hubby and I said "I do," in front of a judge (we eloped), barely squeaking in under the wire at a few minutes before 5:00 before the courthouse closed. (We were there in plenty of time, but the judge got sidetracked or something, and like to never got to us! We were kind of nervous sitting out in that hallway, waiting!) Then we walked around Walmart. We ate pepperoni pizza. We both had to be back to work the next day, so the honeymoon was short. But .....
... we're still bouncing through the hayfields of life together, through thick and thin!
Sometimes great views, good work to do, but there might be a little mud on the windshield.
Beautiful scenes keep your spirits up.
Some landmarks stand the test of time.
When you hit a muddy spot, you have to at least try to keep going.
You work together to come through the ruts of life.
A gorgeous sunset at the end of a day.
And here and there, you enjoy a treat to celebrate. (Hubby fixed this, a plate for each of us.) Happy Anniversary, Hubby!
