An Outing

Hubby and I rode along with a friend this evening to deliver a cattle chute and help set it up. "Help" being a relative term .... Hubby did help some (there were several working on it), I just watched. But I left prepared, wearing boots and jeans, and bringing along TWO pair of work gloves, one pair kind of nice yet and the other pair I use all the time and they look it.

A few sights along the way - green fields with the Buttes in the distance ...

... the big river, along with a little bridge construction going on ...

... sun and clouds, the shade was really nice ...

... a plane taking off from the big city airport.

The drive there, and just being "out," was good for me, I know. But seeing THIS ...

... was literally like medicine. Cattle pens, cattle, green fields, high clouds in the sky, quiet, with a soft, cool breeze out of the south .... ahhh, PURE BLISS. This cowgirl-at-heart was enjoying every minute of it. And yes, the chute and hydraulic pump got installed with a lot of this-and-that, leaving one happy customer.
