Awhile back, I received an "Advance Reader Copy" of Kim Vogel Sawyer's THROUGH THE DEEP WATERS. This was a very good story, and I would highly recommend it for anyone who likes Christian fiction and historical settings. This story takes place in Kansas, and involves the well-known Harvey House business from times past. Kim's style is very readable, and I know I always want to know "what's going to happen next." Problems and situations found in life are encountered and dealt with in ways that may help the reader in their own life. The characters are interesting to "get to know." This particular story contained a subject matter that is difficult to address, and Kim did a great job treating it with decency and understanding. If you're interested in this kind of reading and get a chance, be sure and check this story out!
