For almost 20 years, I've saved a whopping barber bill by cutting our two boys' hair. Maybe it's a sign of spring, Older Son requested a haircut the other day, so I obliged. Younger Son took a LOT more persuasion. (Read: "No computer time until you let me give you a haircut.") He was really looking like a sheepdog. After that successful conquest, Hubby also shaved his head of hair for spring. But, that backfired, as it dropped into the teens and twenties overnight. (Yes, in March!)
I still remember the first haircut I gave Older Son when he was about 1 or so (?). He had blonde hair when he was little, and as it grew, it had curls in the back. Waaahhhh! I hated cutting it, but it had to be done. So thus started the twenty-year cutting streak, and I don't see it stopping anytime soon. I don't mind, but it sure does give me an appreciation for hairdressers. ("Tired arms.")
Younger Son before (on our trip).
During.
After.
I like long hair but he looks much more handsome with the haircut.
ReplyDeleteSmart and thrift you!
He looks a lot older with his haircut! My boys hate cuts too...lots of threatening going on.
ReplyDeleteWhat IS it with boys and haircuts??
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments, y'all! :)
