Yesterday, I made some bread pudding. Mom used to make this at home every so often. She would make a pan, and then it would be sitting out on the cupboard. We'd eat some. Then as the evening wore on, she'd go by, and just have a little sliver more. Then I'd go by and just have a sliver more. And so on all evening, 'til we whittled it away, sliver by sliver! Well, above, I cut a hunk for some breakfast. Yesterday and last night, though, I was "whittling away" at it, an evening snack, a bedtime snack, and so on. Now I'm at it at breakfast.
By the way, it's a little after six a.m., not 8-something a.m., like the picture says, my camera is off!
I never used to like bread pudding but the older I got the better I liked it. Yours looks good!
ReplyDeleteThat was one of my dad's favorites. .yet my mom never made it much. .and I never think to make it. .seems like I did once and my kids hated it!! Wish I were close enough to nibble on yours :-) Glad you are back!!
